Direct Cremation is also known as a no service no attendance funeral, a bare cremation, an unattended cremation, or a cremation only. This option has been rising in popularity, especially in the last couple of years since COVID-19 restrictions were imposed, and offers the best price for cremation.
The reasons for a direct cremation are varied. For some, the cost is a factor. Because a cremation only no service removes the traditional ceremonies that surround a funeral it is much more budget-friendly and offers the cheapest cremation. Others are more environmentally conscious and looking for an eco-friendly funeral option. Simplicity also plays a factor, as the death of a friend or family member is a confusing time, with many not wanting to make too many decisions - or to spend time with loved ones and grieve in their own way.
On the return of their loved ones ashes personal memorial is favoured with family and friends, to celebrate their life in the way they want to, have a scattering ceremony, or even have keepsakes such as jewelery made from the ashes.

Our direct cremation arrangement is as simple as a phone call. That's it. We are available 24 hours a day to help you through this emotional time and answer any other questions you may have. We will then give you a password to access our secure online arrangement form.
By completing the online arrangement we are able to use the information to complete all the legal paperwork on your behalf. If there are any questions you don't know the answer to, just answer "unknown"
We service the Gold Coast and Brisbane Greater Region. Depending on your location we will arrive to collect your loved one usually within 90 minutes and bring them into our care in our secure facility.
Whether you want to provide us with special clothing, letters or special items to place in with your loved one, we take care of all of it. Once the direct cremation is completed we will let you know, and return your loved one home to you where they belong.
Paperwork
We will register the paperwork with Births Deaths and Marriages, and provide documentation and information for everything you need to manage estate affairs.
