Pimpama Cemetery

Pimpama Cemetery is located on 4.4 hectares and contains memorials dating from 1878 to the present day. It includes a modern lawn section, a columbarium and a war memorial and the grounds are well maintained by the Gold Coast City Council with plenty of shade trees and seating.  The land was set aside in 1872 and is controlled and operated by the City of Gold Coast as trustee. This cemetery is well known for the war memorial monument erected within its precinct.

Pimpama is 11km south of Beenleigh. Take exit 45 from the Motorway to the east. At the roundabout proceed onto the service road (Creek St) that runs parallel to the highway heading south and drive for 2.4km. The cemetery is on the right just past Mirambeena Dr, next to the Uniting Church.
